Daily journal December 25, 2000, Christmas Day, what does Christmas mean?
Jews have made their choice from long ago and until recently I did not realize that they only have the first five books of the Old Testament, the books of Moses. No wonder they are blind to Biblical truth and do not except Christ as their Messiah. Like the Catholics in the sense that they do not allow all the inspired Scriptures into their study. With all only the first five books as their gospel, they just have history and not the Word of God. What a pity that they are denied the wonderful truth of the glory of God and of having a personal relationship with the Lord and Christ. What a narrow scope they have and indeed it is no wonder that seldom a Jew is converted to Christianity although the Messianic Jews do believe in Christ and worship Him. I thank God that some see the light. The Protestant Christian world considers all Jews as God's favorite people and Israel as a true Biblical state. I no longer believe with the modern church of today. I do believe that Jews will be lost unless they except Christ as their savior and believe on Him as Lord. One Jew was said to be asked what Christmas meant to him and he replied 'payday'. Few people of all nations or religions really know the true meaning of Christmas. Most children think God is Santa Clause. Under the laws of God supporting family, people were taught values from a childhood. Now we are in the wilderness without God in our homes or our nation. We are a nation of broken homes now and a liberal press that flaunts God as very bad. We are about to see a real Christmas, not taken from pagan practices as the traditional Christmas of today. We are about to see Christ's return as He must, be ready to meet Him. Most people today are unhappy. Prosperity is not happiness to us. Money makes no one happy. If you're not happy you missed the boat. Fall on your knees and cry out to God to save your soul and to make you happy in this life and forever. Surrender your desires for the things of this world and leave it at the altar completely and be happy. Happiness does come from within after God has changed your heart and delivered you from the bonds of sin and the desire for money. When your heart is right then you will walk right before God and man. You will make things right with your brother and your fellow man and your sister and all the sisters in the body of Christ, in the Church of the living God. Let us praise Him from on high who is worthy of all. Let us thank Him for this eternal life. Teenagers today downing soft drinks one after the other until they are hypersensitive and hyperactive and uncontrollable with learning disorders and multi illnesses revised and wasted. Where is the government of good sense?Just follow the dollar and see the reason. The modern church celebrated the birthday today of Christ the Messiah and that is okay. Mathew were 1-23 " Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted, God with us.24-Then chose of being raised from sleep did assets the Angel of the Lord had bitten him, and token to him his wife: 25-And he knew her not until she had brought forth her firstborn son: and they called his name Jesus". When this one of four counts in the Gospels of Christ the Messiah being born into a world conceived of the Holy Spirit of God. Although man has changed his name from Hebrew Yesu, I call him Christ the Lord. This is the link of God to mankind. We need not look further for a Messiah to come because he is already here. We need not a priest or Mother Mary to intercede for us because we surely have a direct connection to God through Christ in Heaven. Let us pray to Him and believe to be saved. Mary has no power to save, she is the same as we are in relationship to God not being divine as Christ was and is. Let us not be deceived, let us believe and trust the Lord.
